One time while Brandon and I were babysitting my niece Teyana, Brandon helped her get out of the car. She was probably 4 years old at the time and needed someone to assist her in getting down from my SUV and onto the ground. So Brandon just picked her up and declared it a "Princess Pick Up."
Flash forward almost three years and Brandon is getting his own "Princess Pick Up." He doesn't need help getting out of a car (Well, Autumn might think so!) but he requires that someone drive him around and pick him up when he is done with work. That person is me. Why you ask, since we do have two cars, do I chauffeur Brandon around all the time? Well, over a month ago Brandon's car battery died. I guess it couldn't handle this cold New England weather. It was protesting Recruiting Duty and wanted to go back to sunny San Diego. We jumped it and got it up and running, only to find out the next day it died again. So there sat Brandon's precious Mustang in the garage for over a month. Too busy or too lazy to get it fixed, Brandon required a driver to take him to work in the morning and he would text "I'm ready for my Princess Pick Up" at night when he was ready to come home. While it hasn't been so bad driving Miss Brandon around, it did cause me to rush in the morning or have to go out in the cold when I was already warm in the house at night.
So after weeks of subtly and not so subtly dropping hints that someone needs to fix their car, Princess Brandon finally did it! He purchased and installed his new battery and his car was happy.
While this is making great strides, the true test will be tomorrow morning. Will Brandon drive himself or will he require a Princess Pick Up?

This cracked me up! You're a good wife, that's a lot of back and forth! : )
