A few weeks ago I headed back to the West Coast for my tri-monthly (or so it seems) visit. My nieces, Lyla and Plum, were both celebrating their birthdays, so I thought it was a perfect time to ditch the cold for some California sunshine.
My sister lives just a few blocks from the beach and I told myself that I would go there every single day. And I'm happy to report that I did. I saw some amazing sunsets, frolicked in the waves with my littles and felt the cool ocean breeze against my face.
One of my favorite parts of my trip was that my BFF Lindsey drove up from San Diego to spend a few days with us in Los Angeles. It had been almost a year since I saw last her and that is just too long to go without seeing your bestie.
Lyla and Plum had a joint birthday party and some of my family came up from San Diego to spend the day with us. Out of the siblings, we were only missing 2 of us...which is pretty good considering there are 7.
