The smallest world in the world.

A couple of days ago my friend posted this on Facebook:

I giggled and then I showed it to Brandon, who laughed pretty hard. I "liked" the picture and wrote "My husband got a pretty good laugh out of this."

Fast forward to today when Brandon calls me at work. He asked, "Remember that officer making things difficult thing you showed me the other day? Well the CO (the Commanding Officer) saw that you commented on it about how your husband thought it was funny!"

Turns out Brandon's CO used to work with my friend (who was in the Marines) several years ago and they are friends on Facebook. So when the CO was scrolling through his news feed, he noticed this picture and noticed my last name. Oops.

What a small world the USMC is. The CO and the XO gave Brandon a hard time for a little bit but ended up laughing about it. I immediately went and erased my comment, although I'm not sure why, since the CO had already seen it. Guess I won't be commenting on that friend's page again!
