I can't believe we only have 3 weeks left of recruiting school! That is crazy!
Lots has been happening since I last blogged. Brandon has been SO busy at school. He has been studying for tests, taking tests, lots and lots of PT (physical training) and practicing speeches.
I have to tell you, I have one hard working man on my hands.
He wakes up at all hours of the morning to go work out. I am talking like 4 and 5 in the morning.
No thank you! That is way too early.
But he does it. After working out for 2 hours, then he goes to school for 8 hours.
What a long, long day!
Last week he had 3 really hard days of PT. He ran 6 miles, then ran 4 miles doing conditioning every 1/2 mile and then he had to endure an obstacle course, twice in row!
Here is his battle wound from the obstacle course. Climbing the rope was a little tough for him.
With all this work, he has been so tired. Always sleeping, which I do not blame him.
The past week Brandon has been sick. He has been coughing and his muscles have been super achy. We tried a ton of over the counter medications, which didn't really seemed to help. Finally, we went to the emergency room yesterday (Sunday). Brandon has bronchitis. They gave him antibiotics, prescription cough medicine and a sexy inhaler to use when he starts to wheeze.
Poor guy. It is just so difficult for him to get better because he has no time to rest. Even over the weekend, he was busy studying for a test they had today and they have another one tomorrow.
This morning after his test, he was able to come home for a few hours and relax before going back to school. And he did just that.
I usually try to stay away from talking about how much I love my husband and how wonderful he is.
But in this case, it is much needed. I am so proud of Brandon and how hard he works for himself, for me and our future family. He is one hard working guy. I wouldn't leave my bed if I had bronchitis and Brandon is out there running miles and doing obstacle courses. I know he would much rather be home, but he does what he has to do to accomplish his goals and be the best man he can be. I found a new respect for him and his work ethic during recruiting school. Brandon does all the school work, PT, organizing our move across the country and still finds time to help me out around the house and spend time together. I love him so much and I am so proud of how hard he works. He has come a far way (just ask him where he was 7 years ago) and I am grateful for the choices that he made to get him to where he is today.
