I know I always say "Poor Brandon" but Recruiting School is really demanding!
So, Poor Brandon had 3 tests in a row this week.
On Monday he had a written test.
On Tuesday he had an oral test. They presented scenarios to him and he had to respond like a recruiter would.
On Wednesday he had a presentation test. They gave him a powerpoint presentation, he had 5 minutes to look it over and then had to present it to his class. Brandon went first out of everyone.
He's so brave. I asked him if they gave him Man Points for going first, but he said no.
He is really trying hard to be in the top 10% of his class. I think he's already there, but he is continually studying and practicing just in case.
Today, Poor Brandon had to be at school at 5:45am for a uniform fitting! That means he woke up at 4:50am and left the house by 5:15. He did come back TWICE within minutes of each other because he forgot his wallet and then his shoes. But seriously, 4:50am is too early to wake up!
He told me today was Field Day (where they clean the grounds, classrooms, etc) and so he'd be home late. But to my surprise he got home before 5:00pm!
And he came home bearing presents...for himself of course. Well he wouldn't call them presents, but I do.
He got 2 new dress blues (pants and jacket!!!), 2 short-sleeve khaki shirts, 2 long sleeve khaki shirts and 2 covers (hats)...
all for FREE! And he gets to keep them after Recruiting School, which is really cool because this uniform stuff is expensive!
And just for good measure, here are some more pictures of Brandon sleeping. I normally wouldn't let him sleep as much as he has been, but I feel bad for him, especially since he is still getting over bronchitis!
Brawley loves his daddy.
